Rare 4–6 Weekend Call Model – Full-Time Hospice Physician | NC Foothills

Carolina Caring , a leading provider of serious illness care in Western North Carolina, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Physician to join our well-respected team. This position offers the opportunity to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment while making a lasting impact on patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.

Position Highlights :

• Monday- Friday 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm schedule, with one night per week of call
• Onsite rounding across our three 6-bed hospice houses located in : Dallas, Sherrills Ford and Newton
• Supervisory role of our House Calls Program APPs
• 4-6 Call Weekends per year(includes phone triage and in-person rounds).
• Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team that includes experienced nurses, chaplains, and social workers.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care with the support of an established organization recognized both locally and regionally.
