Job Description Our client, a leading software company in the engineering and scientific computing space, is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build backend services that power next-generation applications. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team developing high-performance, cloud-native systems used by engineers, researchers, and developers worldwide. This is a full-time, onsite role in Boston, MA.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong expertise with Python
- Experience building RESTful or microservice-based backend systems
- Experience with React or another modern front-end framework
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and distributed systems
- Experience working on high-traffic or large-scale web applications
