California Licensed Underwriting Lead

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Meet or exceed production targets and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines

Mentor and develop staff while managing a multi-person team

Negotiate terms and coverages for new and existing business and monitor compliance with policies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation

Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S insurance products

Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance

Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating

Leadership and team skills with the ability to maintain relationships with agencies and carriers
