[job_card.job_description]Area : Mental Health OT-10H Class : RECT Shift : 1 Start : 07 : 00 : 00 End : 17 : 00 : 00 Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Assess patient needs Consider medical records Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients Document a patient's progress during their activities Other duties assigned my supervisor
