Job Details Location : Louisiana Start Date : Dec 14, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 12-hour shifts, 6a-6p and 6p-6a Responsibilities and Duties Deliver comprehensive emergency medicine services to patients Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters Adhere to established protocols and standards of emergency care Additional Information Current Louisiana state license, board certification, and DEA are required Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required if not ABEM certified Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
