Nesco Resource is in search of a Quality Manager to work for one of our clients based in Milford, CT. SUMMARY : Our client, a leading manufacturer in New Haven County, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and continuously improve all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage inspection teams, drive process improvements across manufacturing and plating operations and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain, operate, and continually improve the company's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 / AS9100D standards.
• Lead and manage teams responsible for incoming, in-process and final inspections, ensuring timely and accurate verification of product quality.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement quality process improvements throughout product design and manufacturing.
• Partner with plating personnel to optimize Gold, Nickel and Tin plating processes, ensuring consistent adherence to specifications and customer expectations.
• Translate customer needs and requirements into effective quality processes, integrating them throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Conduct data-driven analysis of nonconformance issues and implement corrective / preventive action plans.
• Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications and customer audits.
