Internal Medicine Physician

TeamHealth is an industry leader in providing primary care to patients in skilled nursing and rehab facilities. Our physicians play a key role in the interdisciplinary team. The physician works closely with pharmacists on medication management including reduction and reconciliation as necessary, they complete all federally mandated visits including initial H&Ps, Medicare required visits, and acute and follow up visits as medically necessary.

This opportunity is located in Flagstaff, Arizona, where you can enjoy the outdoors by visiting the many parks, canyons, national forests, and spend the evenings star gazing at the Lowell Observatory. If you live in Belmont, Grand Canyon, Mormon Lake, or Williams this would be a perfect location for you to expand your practice and gain experience and skills with an experienced clinical skilled nursing and rehab team of clinicians in Flagstaff.

As a TeamHealth physician you work collaboratively with each patient's care team to implement an individualized plan of care that meets the patient's goals. We provide you with template progress notes that include HPI, current medications, general exam, and review of systems, assessments and treatments by diagnosis to allow you to manage your time and have work / life balance.

For this opportunity you do not have to be board certified or board eligible. Experience in post-acute rehab, acute rehab, long term care, and / or hospital medicine is recommended.

Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $58,000 to $69,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
