Underwriting Auditor

Perform internal underwriting audits to ensure staff compliance with company policies, Sarbanes-Oxley and standard industry practices. Review and make recommendations on contestable claims.

Responsibilities :

• Perform audits of underwriting work.
• Trend and review mortality and morbidity experience specific to L&P insurance markets.
• Serve as an L&P liaison for the Medical Information Bureau (MIB) and perform the annual the MIB self-audit for all distribution groups.
• Review and report on contestable claims and serve as a consultant to the Claims Department.
• Assist in projects and special assignments as needed.

Working Conditions :

The salary for this position generally ranges between $70,000-$90,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for a 12.5% Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the company's discretion.
