Technical Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated early career Sales Engineer to support the sales team in developing sales for our commercial space product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying leads, fielding initial customer questions, maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, supporting tradeshows and assist marketing with our website, social media, presentations, videos and datasheet content.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Engineering, Physics or related field from a four-year college or university Excellent communication skills and customer-facing work experience

Desired Skills : Working knowledge of space materials, thermal control coatings, optical coatings and filters or material science Experience in technical sales Experience in Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
