What You Will Do

The Customer Technical Service Engineer works directly with airline customers and engine overhaul facilities and teams up with their respective disciplines to :

• Understand and implement corrective action for engine related in-service events and hardware issues identified during overhaul.
• Support MROs to resolve work-stops during teardown and reassembly of engines.
• Support Airlines to resolve Aircrafts on the Ground (AOGs) and coordinate resolution of service issues.
• Initiate technical data development of documentation for engine / module piece part inspection and for Engine Manuals (EM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
• Coordinate with the technical publication organization (MDE) and provide direction for all technical publications issues related to their hardware.
• Interface with Airbus by providing design operation maintenance and customer service data.
• Coordinate resolution on hardware investigations (CPRs Customer Part Returns)
• Coordinate resolution on Quality Notifications (QNs)

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
