[job_card.job_description]M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other relevant engineering / physical science discipline Minimum 3 years of hands-on semiconductor processing experience Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis; proficiency with JMP or similar software Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Lithography experience and prior contributions to patents or patent applications are a plus Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Our client is on the leading edge of semiconductor manufacturing technology and is looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their team in Austin. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes for next generation semiconductor tools, with a focus on defect characterization, mitigation, and metrology support. JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Develop and optimize processes for advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools
- Design, execute, analyze, and document experiments using DOE and statistical analysis methods
- Operate wafer inspection systems and metrology tools; perform routine maintenance on imprint and metrology equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers to identify requirements and implement defect-reduction strategies
- Coordinate and qualify client tools and technologies for specific customer applications
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide applications support
- Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents
- Domestic and international travel up to ~10%
