Position Title : Loan Coordination Specialist
Type : Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, In-Office, Non-Remote, 8 Hour Shift, M-F
Pay : $21 - $23 per hour, Bonus Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Coordination Specialist. This role is essential to providing exceptional internal support service while confirming that all files are accurate and in compliance with company guidelines for a timely funding.
A Loan Coordination Specialist supports the student loan processing and underwriting departments, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of loan applications. They will work to gather necessary documentation, verify information, and coordinate with internal team members involved in the loan process. Loan Coordination Specialists will be involved in the final funding process. Our ideal candidate should demonstrate an understanding of verifying documentation; possess problem-solving skills; and can work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and manage loan application documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and adherence to company guidelines
- Communicate with team members to address questions; provide updates on loan status; and gather additional information as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Underwriters and Processors, to ensure the loan process moves smoothly, while addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to loan processing
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to processing of the loan applications
- Coordinate the funding process
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and company guidelines
- High level administrative support to Underwriting Department
- Perform other related duties as assigned
