  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop coordinated care strategies.
  • Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families to ensure ongoing progress beyond clinical interactions.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and therapeutic interventions, upholding seamless continuity of care.

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods across all age groups, along with a strong grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adept at modifying therapeutic techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
Perks and Benefits
  • Competitive salary reflective of experience.
  • Flexible scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance and diverse caseloads.
  • Opportunities to delve into specialties within pediatrics, adult neuro therapy, or geriatric care.
