Medical data entry specialist

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative team. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time position. The team works onsite at the Tempe, AZ office and the schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-2 : 30pm.

salary : $19 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Complete data processing and input accurately into the correct system working from a queue
• Responsible for data verification of all incoming data from diverse sources (including provider notes, forms, lab results) to identify and correct discrepancies before entry.
• Accurately input and process high volumes of patient demographic, clinical, insurance, and billing data directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Manage the ongoing maintenance and lifecycle of patient records, ensuring all files are current, complete, and correctly organized according to internal protocols
• Uphold strict compliance with all HIPAA regulations, maintaining the highest standard of patient data privacy and security at all times.
• Assist with the process of regular data quality audits
