Job Description

• As the Accounting Manager-Construction you will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor their construction budgets and work in progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with construction industry accounting standards and practices.
• Oversee Risk, Insurance & Compliance for the business.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager-Construction should have :

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Must have experience across accounting in a construction, engineering, or architecture environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and construction industry practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• This role is onsite and based in Downtown Los Angeles.
