Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Assembly : Transform raw footage into polished, professional video content for a range of media platforms.

Storytelling : Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute videos that align with strategic goals.

Graphics & Animation : Add text overlays, graphics, and motion elements to enhance storytelling and maintain brand consistency.

Optimization : Edit and format videos for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) ensuring the content is platform-optimized.

Collaboration : Work closely with other creative team members, designers, and marketers to refine video assets and meet creative objectives.

Project Management : Handle multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and high-quality standards are consistently met.

Feedback & Iteration : Revise and adapt videos based on team and client feedback, providing multiple rounds of edits as necessary.

Stay Current : Keep up with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software to bring fresh ideas and innovations to every project.

Requirements

Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio or showreel that showcases your editing skills.

Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.

Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and transitions.

Creative storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and pacing.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to integrate feedback and adapt quickly.

Time management skills to handle multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and basic animation.

Knowledge of video SEO for platform optimization (e.g., YouTube, social media).

Familiarity with camera operation or understanding of the filming process.

Experience working within an agency or in a fast-paced creative environment.
