Critical Care / ICU Nurse Practitioner

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Qualified Candidates :

• Acute care certified or experienced PA
• At least 12 months ICU experience preferred
• APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Night Shift Only
• 12-hour shifts covering a 30-bed medical / surgical ICU and 12-bed CV ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults, Average Daily Census 20-25 patients
• Structure : 1 MD & 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 MD & 1 APP (7 pm to 7 am)
• Busy program with high acuity patient population
• Ability to work Full Time, 13 shifts per month
• Teaching Facility with GME program
