About the Position

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, with a day shift scheduled from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient setting and be comfortable working independently in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient setting

Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans

Manage acute and chronic medical conditions

Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations

Document all patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EMR system

Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Follow all clinical protocols, standards, and safety guidelines

Additional Information

Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required

Must hold a valid Minnesota license

Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Board certification in Family Medicine required

Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
