  • ED Overnight Ultrasound Tech - 32hrs.
  • Shift : Sat & Sun 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am Salem Emergency Department; Fri. 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm Danvers Women's Health Center.
  • Unit Name : General Ultrasound Technologist ER– Salem Hospital. Fridays at Danvers Women's Health Center.
  • One Ultrasound room located in a radiology suite in Salem ER.
  • Clinician to Patient Ratio : 1 : 1.
  • Patient Population : ER patients, Inpatients.
  • Bed Count : 1.
  • EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.

  • Years of Experience Required : 1.
  • Skill Sets Required : Ultrasound.
  • Certifications Required : RDMS.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : Sat & Sun 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am Salem Emergency Department; Fri. 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm Danvers Women's Health Center.

  • Bed Count : 1.
  • EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.

    • Additional Details

  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and / or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
  • MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
  • N95 Fit Test within 365 days to start date and updated annually; no fit testing onsite.
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred.
  • Influenza Vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15th - April 30th) with no exemptions.
  • TB Test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if >

    • 6 month break.

  • Physician Health Statement within 365 days of start date and updated if >

    • 6 month break.

  • MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >

    • 6 month break.

  • MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >

    • 6 month break.

  • MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
  • MGB References : 2 recent references required, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in Skillset.
  • MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
  • MGB Confirmation of Assignment / POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
  • Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation.
  • MGB Education Verification through background check company.
  • MGB SSN Trace must be run with Criminal check.
  • MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
  • MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually.
  • MGB TB Symptom Survey if Positive PPD required prior to start and updated annually.
  • MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission.
