Specialist I, SMS

Responsible for the daily operations of the Sample Management Services Department. The duties listed below are not meant to be an exhaustive listed but to give an expectation of the minimal requirements

Job Functions

• Classify identify package mark document and ship items
• Liaise with clients to resolve any questions and so you have a clear understanding of what is needed prior to starting the job
• Monitor departmental emails and respond accordingly
• Warehouse operation duties include handling products set up breakdown mixing blending transferring operations cleaning and organizing
• Inspect / maintain / operate departmental equipment to include forklifts
• Facilitate the pickup and delivery of items around the Houston area and properly document the products and locations involved
• Inventory products and supplies weekly to avoid operational delays
• Other duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives
