Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Zanesville, OH is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring they receive the support needed to develop effective communication skills.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience or specialization in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in SLP
  • Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology services and strategies
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and individualized therapy planning skills

Location :

  • Position based in Zanesville, Ohio within a K-12 school setting

    • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings to identify student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise
  • Provide intervention for a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
