Technical Writer (Denver)

Our client is hiring a Technical Writer! Join a nationally recognized leader in critical-care aviation where your work directly supports life-saving missions every day. You'll collaborate with highly skilled engineering and operations teams in a stable, mission-driven environment that values precision, safety, and innovation.

Location : 100% Remote : Can go in office if you are located in the Denver, CO area

Employment Type : 36 Month Contract, with possible conversion to full-time.

Hourly : $40-$43, W2

Benefits : All contractors are offered medical, dental, vision, STD / LTD during the contract period.

Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker (structured and unstructured)

Experience with XML authoring, structured documentation, and EDD management

Working knowledge of SolidWorks EPDM or similar configuration management / document control systems

Ability to interpret engineering data and regulatory requirements

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and document quality

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, certification, and quality teams

Experience updating audits, manuals, and documentation within a regulated or compliance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and managing technical illustrations

Prior involvement in process improvement or tool evaluation

Background in aviation documentation or FAA-regulated environments is a plus
