Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day news programming operations and monitor breaking news
Send breaking news through push notifications and curate news content
Develop new content experiences within the app
Required Qualifications
5+ years' experience in digital media, breaking news, and journalism
Expert knowledge of AP Style
Familiarity with remote-work software, including Slack and Google Drive
Expert news judgment and understanding of journalism ethics
Experience with digital publishing tools and smartphone news apps
