With regimented structure and clear-cut progression through to management, this firm is looking to bring on board a motivated accountant looking to progress their career to the next level.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF

• Manage a team of 8 Accountants and control your own book of clients from start to finish
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Managing the preparation of Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns, and Business Activity Statements for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships
• Drafting of tax advice to clients on particular transactions
• Mentoring and managing a group of junior accountants
• IT - issues, upgrades and improvements
• High amount of both internal and external stakeholder engagement
• Support other Managers and Directors to achieve their tasks. Can perform complex assignments for Directors
• Review of job budgets, monitoring of WIP and adherence to the firm’s workflow process. Approve fees with accurate and appropriate narratives demonstrating a commercial approach
• Strong technical tax (direct and indirect) knowledge in matters applicable to the SME market
