What You'll Be Doing

As a Housekeeping Inspector , you'll ensure that every guest room and public space meets the exceptional cleanliness and service standards of the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa. You'll lead by example-coaching and supporting the housekeeping team to deliver consistency, quality, and care that guests can see and feel.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards are met.
• Supervise and support Room Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring all assignments are completed to brand standards.
• Coordinate daily room assignments, track progress, and update the Front Office on room readiness.
• Inspect and approve VIP rooms; ensure accuracy and timeliness of room status communication.
• Oversee end-of-day closure procedures-restocking, cart organization, and cleanliness checks.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness in linen closets, storage areas, and service hallways.
• Handle and log "Lost and Found" items in accordance with hotel policy.
• Communicate maintenance issues or repair needs and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of housekeeping associates.
• Participate in deep cleaning projects and quality assurance programs.
• Step in to assist with cleaning tasks during high-demand periods when needed.
