[job_card.job_description]Perform diagnostic PET procedures using positron emitting radionuclides and operating sensitive radiation detection equipment such as PET or PET / CT scanners. Conduct PET or hybrid PET / CT scanning procedures in the Positron Emission Tomography section. Demonstrate knowledge of nuclear medicine, PET, basic healthcare leadership, and organizational policies and procedures. Manage and supervise daily operations, as well as the technology used in nuclear medicine and PET. Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant authorities such as RAM, IAC, and ACHC. Provide technical mentorship to staff, aligning with hospital Key Result Areas, managing busy schedules, and offering support. Minimum Education : An Associates Degree is required, while a Bachelors Degree is preferred. Minimum Work Experience : At least prior years of experience in nuclear medicine / PET is required. Hold a valid registration or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT(N)) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Must have an Ohio license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Successfully pass the NMTCB-PET exam and maintain certification in PET specialty, renewing every 7 years as per NMTCB Specialty Board requirements.
