SweeT & SaltY's | Great Cookie Caper in Valley Cottage, NY is looking for a baker to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. Fun, friendly personalities tend to do best in our environment.
PART TIME (15-20 hours per week) more during the holidays
Currently seeking a baker who, with guidance and supervision from us, can take over the day-to-day in our back of house.
MUST HAVE :
- Knowledge of the cookie dough mixing process is an ABSOLUTE MUST.
- An outgoing personality - each employee is required to engage with the customer.
- Food handling experience is necessary. (ServSafe or Food Handler’s License a plus)
- Understanding of FIFO and other food safety and sanitation elements.
- Good work ethic, time management skills, patience and enjoy creating efficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
We use many professional pastry chef techniques in making our cookies however, you do not need to be a professional baker to success in this position. We are willing to train the right personality.
Please know our current focus is on COOKIES - if you want to bake other items this is not the position for you.
