Texas Licensed Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract position that is remote.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation and filing of SEC reports and financial audit support

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and support quarterly financial presentations

Research new GAAP pronouncements and implement process improvements for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience; Master's preferred

Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience, preferably in Public Accounting

CPA preferred or working towards certification

Thorough knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel knowledge, with financial modeling experience
