About the Position

Are you a detail-driven quality professional with a passion for infrastructure excellence? Join a high-impact team delivering one of the region's most ambitious rail and transit programs. We're looking for a Quality Manager with a proven track record in the Rail and Transit industry to lead quality assurance and control across complex, multi-phase projects.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring construction and system delivery meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. You'll work both in-office and on-site, collaborating with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to uphold quality from design through delivery.

This is a long-term, full-time, on-site position located in Washington DC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Project Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards and client requirements.
• Establish and manage project-specific QA / QC plans and inspection test plans for architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Oversee quality inspections, audits, and non-conformance reporting; ensure timely closure of NCR's and implementation of corrective / preventive actions.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues and ensure consistency throughout design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct root cause analyses and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Provide quality training and mentorship to project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Lead quality meetings, compile reports, and deliver project quality performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $115k - $175k / year ($55-$84 / hour). The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications / licenses that have been obtained, etc.
