Were looking for a Material Planner to support our production schedule by ensuring parts, components, and materials arrive on time and in full. This role manages purchase orders, monitors supplier deliveries, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate data within our ERP / MRP system. Youll work closely with suppliers, finance, and internal operations teams to keep inventory flowing smoothly and prevent production delays.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

25 years of experience in material planning with understanding of procurement and / or supply chain operations

Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems and Excel

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or logistics operations (preferred)

Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supplier management

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities :

Issue, manage, and track purchase orders based on demand and planning requirements

Confirm supplier acknowledgments, lead times, and delivery commitments

Monitor vendor shipments and proactively resolve delays or shortages

Communicate material issues, delays, or quality concerns to internal stakeholders

Coordinate return-to-vendor (RTV) actions for defective or excess materials

Maintain accurate PO, receipt, and supplier data within ERP / MRP / QuickBooks

Collaborate with Finance to resolve blocked invoices and delivery discrepancies

Generate reports on open orders, supplier performance, and material shortages

Expedite materials when needed to support on-time production

Support continuous improvement efforts across purchasing and supply chain operations
