[job_card.job_description]Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations (X-rays) on patients in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient centers. Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the exam. Operate radiographic equipment to capture clear, accurate images for physician interpretation. Verify patient identification and exam requisitions before imaging. Maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition and report any technical malfunctions. Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality before submission to radiologists. Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards, following all regulatory and facility policies. Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in the EMR system. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient-centered care. Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. License / Certification : Current and valid state license for radiography (in the state of assignment). BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist in an acute care or clinical setting. Travel experience preferred but not required.
