Business Development Lead

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth by building relationships with greenfield Private Equity firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PE investment strategies, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships within the PE ecosystem. Key responsibilities include identifying and building relationships with Private Equity firms, presenting NetSuite value prop to PE firms, collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with PE firm needs, tracking and analyzing sales performance, pipeline activity, and client feedback to optimize strategies, understanding PE firms' investment strategies and value-creation goals to tailor sales pitches, acting as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions tailored to PE firms and their portfolio companies, and tracking industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within private equity.

Qualifications : 3-7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within private equity, investment banking, or financial services. Existing network and relationships within the private equity ecosystem preferred. Strong understanding of PE deal structures, fundraising cycles, and portfolio management. Proven track record of B2B sales success, preferably in SaaS. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-performance environment. Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships.

Responsibilities : Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70 / 30 - 80 / 20. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
