Mason Counseling Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team. As a QMHP, you will provide essential mental health services to individuals with various emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to choose a schedule that best fits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support for individuals with mental health disorders.
- Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.
- Offer guidance and support to clients and their families regarding mental health treatment.
- Monitor and track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.Must meet state requirements to be considered a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional).Previous experience in mental health counseling or a related field preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Empathetic, nonjudgmental approach to working with diverse populations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health care and confidentiality.Skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.Skills in therapeutic counseling techniques, including individual and group therapy.Skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.Ability to work with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.Benefits (for Full-Time Positions) :
