Mason Counseling Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team. As a QMHP, you will provide essential mental health services to individuals with various emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to choose a schedule that best fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support for individuals with mental health disorders.
  • Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.
  • Offer guidance and support to clients and their families regarding mental health treatment.
  • Monitor and track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Must meet state requirements to be considered a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional).
  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathetic, nonjudgmental approach to working with diverse populations.

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health care and confidentiality.
  • Skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Skills in therapeutic counseling techniques, including individual and group therapy.
  • Skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
