Our client a global entertainment provider is looking for a
Programming & Editorial Coordinator
to join their team in
Los Angeles, California.
This is an initial
9-month onsite contract
opportunity.
As their
Programming & Editorial Coordinator
you will support the scheduling, performance tracking, and day-to-day operations of a portfolio of streaming TV channels. This role sits on the
business and strategy side of entertainment , helping ensure content is scheduled effectively to drive audience engagement and retention.
Duration :
9-month contract (possibility of extension)
Responsibilities :
Build and maintain channel schedules by entering and updating lineups in a CMS with accuracy and timeliness
Support programming decisions by reviewing performance data, content trends, and weekly results
Monitor how schedule changes or featured content impact viewership and engagement
Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, including data pulls and presentation support
Partner cross-functionally with Programming, Marketing, Content Operations, and Content Partnerships teams
Review content catalogs and maintain internal content databases
Help improve workflows by identifying efficiencies and providing system feedback or bug reports
Requirements :
1–2+ years of experience (entertainment, streaming, or online media preferred; internships welcome)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in TV, film, and streaming content, with curiosity around audience behavior and content trends
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
(sort / filter, data entry, basic formulas; VLOOKUP a plus)
Familiarity with Airtable or similar workflow tools
Experience with CMS tools, scheduling platforms, or content databases
