JOB DESCRIPTION
The Fire Alarm Technician tests, repairs, and inspects fire detection systems. He or she must provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs installation, programming, repair, testing, and inspection of fire detection and signaling systems on a scheduled basisCompletes all services following manufacturer instructions, related codes / standards, and Company policies and proceduresSchedules inspections with customers as requiredProvides documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity requiredCommunicates discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to the Company and the customerFollows up to ensure that suggested repairs to systems are performedMarkets EFI services to existing and potential customersTrains Technician Trainees as assignedCommits to work until obligations are met, which may result in overtimeCompletes continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and / or licenses as required for positionAdheres to ALL Company Standards and Procedures, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol StandardQUALIFICATIONS
