Located in Androscoggin County in Western Maine; this FQCHC offers a rural lifestyle while being close to urban activities.
This Physician Assistant will be part of a patient centered medical home model that believes in quality of care over #s of patient seen. They provide integrated behavioral health, care managers, and patient assistance coordinators.
The providers treat a rural underserved population treating all ages from Newborn to Geriatrics. The PA will treat acute and chronic health issues, school and sports physicals, women's health, new baby physicals and small office procedures.
The PA responsibilities will include :

will treat acute and complex medical issues,

will perform school and sport physicals

will prescribe and manage medications as needed.

will see on average 14-16 patients per shift and

will manage a patient panel of all age groups.
To qualify for this position the Physician Assistant must :
Be
PA-C
