Job Title : Test Technician

Job Description

As a Quality / Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electrical and mechanical components. You will be responsible for inspecting these components against supplied drawings and specifications and ensuring conformance to customer requirements on finished assemblies. Your duties will also include maintaining tooling and equipment, logging documentation, and assisting with process improvements and the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming electrical and mechanical components to ensure they meet supplied drawings and specifications.
• Verify conformance to customer product requirements on finished assemblies using customer drawings and specifications.
• Implement and maintain tooling and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
• Maintain logs and documentation for the Equipment and Tooling Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Complete assigned projects to assist with process improvements and the Quality Management System.
• Maintain accurate inspection records.
• Assist with reporting and processing non-conforming materials.
• Assist with the training of production personnel as required.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and highly organized. Each person has their own workstation for the day. The typical hours are 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with half-day Saturdays encouraged, working from 7 AM to 12 : 30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 / hr.
