Staff Accountant

Family office in Boston is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its close-knit team. This role focuses on all day to day accounting responsibilities including A/P & A/R. This position would report to the Controller

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor invoices and tenant payments
• Track and maintain maintenance and service contracts; ensure accurate expense coding by property
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with monthly close and property-level financial reporting
• Support general ledger maintenance, audits, and tax preparation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience; real estate or property accounting preferred
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
