Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Environmental Project Manager :

  • Provide technical oversight and perform project work.
  • Write and review technical reports and proposals.
  • Assist with project management activities.
  • Mentor and train scientific staff and supervise work.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for :

  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience with environmental services including site investigation and characterization, including drilling and environmental multi-media sampling techniques and procedures, data interpretation and evaluation.
  • Experience in the preparation of technical and regulatory reports, proposals and cost estimates.
  • Working knowledge of applicable Texas laws and regulations.
  • Perform task and project management assignments associated with environmental assessments, subsurface investigations and remedial designs, remediation, and monitoring projects.
  • Project deliverables, including the preparation of soil boring logs, well construction diagrams, potentiometric surface maps, geologic cross sections, site sample and plume maps, work plans, and reports.
  • Experience interacting with clients and managing subcontractors. Ability to mentor and train staff
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within groups.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
