Bookkeeper Position
Our client, a respected business consulting firm with a global presence, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in finance and accounting who excel in managing the day-to-day financial transactions and supporting the overall financial health of an organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
- Reconcile accounts, prepare bank deposits, and manage accounts payable / receivable activity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external clients.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance / accounting role.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Knowledge of GAAP is a plus.Requirements :
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to perform payroll functions and handle payroll taxes accurately.Skilled in reconciling accounts and maintaining general ledger records.Familiarity with accounts payable processes and payment coding.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Strong communication skills, including answering inbound calls professionally.
