Job Summary

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of a vibrant, high-volume dining program.

In this hands-on role, you will manage and motivate a team of associates, uphold uncompromising standards for food quality and service, and support operational and financial objectives. A passion for hospitality, excellence, and client satisfaction is essential. Flexibility is required to occasionally support evening or weekend events aligned with client and guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support food service operations in alignment with budgetary goals, driving value for the client.

Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food and service to guests.

Build and sustain collaborative relationships with associates, partners, and clients.

Provide daily team leadership, quality assurance, and operational execution.

Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure account success.

Qualifications

2–4 years of progressive food service management experience in campus dining, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, corporate, or military environments.

Strong culinary and operational expertise, including purchasing and cost control.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet-based applications.

Associate’s degree preferred.
