We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Member Care Representative who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Schedule : Full Time, Sunday-Thursday 10am-7pm.
- OR Sunday mornings 9am-1pm and longer hours another time in the week.
Essential Functions
Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, hospitality-driven approach to promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members and guestsReceive and respond to incoming phone calls, emails and in person inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to needs for account changes, payments or questions, tours, enrollment processing, etc.Maintain updated knowledge of programming, events, services, pricing and policies to appropriately support and educate membersEngage in problem solving and service recovery, addressing member questions, concerns and challenges with care and professionalism to support member acquisition and retention effortsAssist with administrative duties including mailing renewal letters and statements, verifying all membership agreements have been signed and received monthly, maintaining the Friends & Family spreadsheet, loading guest passes, uploading documentation to accounts and resolving returned mailAssist with various member events and open houses from planning and set up thru execution and guest supportRequirements :
3-5 years of experience working in a customer service department or call centerCRM (customer relationship management) or other similar database experienceProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, XCEL and OutlookExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganized, accurate, detail-oriented and understands a sense of urgencyStrong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on clear communication and patienceKeeps confidentiality in all mattersGoal oriented with ability to successfully meet deadlines and quality requirementsProactive approach to seeking information needed to provide customer serviceSales experience a plusPhysical Requirements
This position primarily works in an indoor, office, desk environment. The job is stationary up to 60-80% of the time (though standing up as desired is also an option); uses repetitive motions and hand / eye coordination to operate computer, mouse, keyboard or similar equipment for data entry and related daily work. Also includes frequent talking and hearing to communicate with members / visitors in person or over the phone. Must be able to carry items up to 10 pounds and move about the facility to give tours as needed.
