Job Description
Will learn to perform a variety of tasks such as monitoring, reading, & recording test data for a variety of navigational, Inertial measurement, & guidance units that are undergoing testing. The ability to learn how to start automated and manual test setup from training & using procedures to ensure proper testing of each unit.
Learn the proper handling, mounting & testing of units which includes the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, power decade boxes & varies other test equipment.
Preferred an associate degree in lieu of degree at least 1-2 years of experience in the field of electronics or other related area.
The ability to pick up on test process quickly & efficiently. Capacity to learn to read & understand schematic drawing. Familiar with standard test lap concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field such as 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Detection), & ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices. Relies on learned experiences, judgment, & skills to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under the supervision of Test Lead or Test Engineer. A certain degree of vision to spot issues before they arise, and latitude of decision making is required.
