Job Title : Tax Senior Manager / Director
Location : Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office / week)

Overview
A boutique CPA firm in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join its leadership team. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in both Tax and Audit & Assurance (A&A) , and a desire to grow into a partner role within 3–5 years .

Practice Areas : 60% Tax, 40% Audit, Evaluation, and Non-Profit
Industries : High Tech, Software, Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate, and High-Net-Worth Individuals
Responsibilities
Lead tax and audit engagements across a diverse client base
Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients
Mentor and develop junior staff
Contribute to business development and firm growth
Qualifications
12+ years of public accounting experience
Strong technical skills in both Tax and A&A
Local market experience preferred
Business development experience and / or an existing book of business is a strong plus
Competitive base salary : $185K–$225K+ , with flexibility for the right candidate

Busy season : ~55 hours / week
Off-season : ~40 hours / week with flexible scheduling
