Automotive Master Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview :

We are looking for the best technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
  • Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • Must be willing to work hard while having a have a positive attitude and a desire to serve others
  • Must be honest, ethical and represent the best of the industry
  • Must be accountable and hold themselves and others to the highest of standards
  • Must be willing to partner with others, offer solutions, and be a leader in solving difficult issues
  • 10+ years of experience as an automotive technician / mechanic
  • Current ASE Certifications 1-8, L1
  • Diagnostic Genius
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes / models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication
  • A desire for long-term career development
  • Must have a clean driving record and be insurable

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Occasionally lift and / or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk / stand for the majority of their workday
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
