Key Responsibilities :
Administer medications and provide direct care to residentsEngage in wellness counseling and health promotion activitiesAssist in resident assessments under the guidance of the Resident Services Director (RN)Offer support to residents and their familiesSupervise Certified Nursing AssistantsProvide training for team members and conduct audits of careComplete monthly in-service training as requiredEducation / Experience / Licensure / Certification :
Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the StateMinimum two years of full-time clinical experience or equivalentExperience and / or a special interest in working with older adultsPreferences for prior experience with dementia and psychiatric careAble to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships with residents, families, and team membersIn good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseasesMaplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug testing.
