Hours - 7 : 00am4 : 00pm Monday through Friday Saturdays as needed

Hourly Non-Exempt - $20 / hour wage dependent on experience

Eligible for benefits first of the month after sixty days of service

Eligible for additional compensation

Any offer contingent on passing a five-panel non-DOT drug screen

Role

The purpose of the Warehouse Team Member is to receive; store; and distribute material; tools; equipment; and products within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist shipping and receiving with loading and unloading trucks checking in merchandise matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
  • Read customer orders work orders shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed and / or shipped
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code
  • File requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area
  • Ensure warehouses are accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
  • Pick and stage customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
  • Open bales crates and other containers
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
  • Assist in counting physical inventory and cycle counts
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Ability to maneuver box trucks into dock and follow docking procedures
  • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
  • Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness

    • Education & Training Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

    • Work Experience Requirements

  • 1 year of prior warehouse experience
  • 1 year of prior experience in forklift operation

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand reach lift bend kneel stoop climb push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less for up to 10 hours per day
  • Exposure to variation in temperature including work for prolong periods in a freezer environment
