Position Overview:
The WAY Internship coordinator shall provide services and oversight in the implementation of a grant funded program. The overarching goal is to develop and implement a program model that focuses on supporting educational achievement and career exploration, assisting in securing vital documents for youth in care, providing technological based opportunities that will allow for our youth to compete in jobs, along with job readiness skills.
Position Qualifications:
Associate’s in Human Services, Business Management, etc., preferred. Driver’s license, required. Minimum (2) years experience in working with at risk youth in job readiness and workforce development, required Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking), required. Bi-lingual, Spanish strongly preferred. Credible messenger, former youth of foster care or juvenile justice, strongly preferred.
