Disney’s Android team is seeking a Software Engineer who is excited to build apps enjoyed by millions around the world. You will be building scalable, elegant solutions for the Disney+ Android application across a wide array of devices including phones, tablets, and TVs. Our highly collaborative group works in tandem with many cross-functional teams. We value pristine communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a bias for action. We are incredibly invested in maintaining high code quality standards with unit tests, automated tests, modern libraries, and a Kotlin codebase. Responsibilities :

• As an Android Engineer working for Disney, you are comfortable with the Android SDK and are ready to own entire features.
• You have a solid foundation of skills including debugging skills, familiarity with Android Studio, and how to maximize it.
• You are prepared to dive into moderately complex issues such as memory leaks and lifecycle issues.
• You understand the value of being organized, planning ahead, and accompanying features and fixes with tests and documentation.
• You are eager for constructive feedback from mentors and are willing to collaborate with less experienced engineers all the same.

The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA and New York, NY is $123,000 - $165,000 per year, in Glendale, Burbank, and Santa Monica, CA is $117,500 - $157,500 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $128,700 - $172,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
