Program Learning Specialist, PFP

PFPs enable governments and local communities in partnership with funders and NGOs to secure long-term management and financing for networks of conservation areas in the form of a deal with a single closing agreement. Accelerating the deployment and impact of this strategy is an organizational priority to deliver lasting outcomes across our 2030 Conservation Goals for Biodiversity Climate and People .

The Program Learning Specialist serves as the project manager for the development maintenance and deployment of resources tools and systems for PFP learning and knowledge management organizes and disseminates best practices coordinates and / or provides training to develop and implement PFPs and serves as the team lead on tracking organizational measures of success as well as supporting monitoring learning and evaluation for team adaptive management. They will bring knowledge of project management knowledge management and adaptive management facilitation training and large-scale conservation strategy to participate in and lead teams to reflect on and capture lessons from developing and implementing PFPs. The Program Learning Specialist will also serve as a central point of reference for information on the PFP portfolio status maintaining and sharing updates and dashboards on the portfolio in collaboration with Project Managers MEL Specialist the PFP Operations and Communications teams and liaising closely with the Enduring Earth Partnership. They will also act as the primary PFP point of contact for TNCs Marketing & Communications team to support internal communications and awareness strategies and products. As part of their role they will support additional operational needs for the program as priorities arise.

This position reports to the Program Manager Global PFP Team . May involve domestic and international travel of 25% or more.

The PFP Program Learning Specialist leads knowledge management MEL and adaptive management training and internal communications for the Global PFP Team.

What Youll Bring :

Bachelors degree in Business Finance Policy Resource Management or related field and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.

Experience supporting complex projects and strategic initiatives in an unstructured environment.

Analytical and project management experience.

Experience writing and editing promotional and informational material based on information systematization in English.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Multi-lingual skills (such as Spanish and French) and multi-cultural cross-cultural or international work experience appreciated.

Previous or current experience working with The Nature Conservancy is strongly preferred

Experience researching critically analyzing and evaluating information from divergent sources and compiling it into cohesive reports and recommendations for strategy and action.

Experience in group facilitation and conducting trainings and after-action reviews.

Familiarity and knowledge related to business governmental and / or environmental policy and practices pertaining to the global strategy area of focus.

Ability to work well in a highly matrixed decentralized and collaborative organization. Possesses strong interpersonal be a team player.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet time sensitive deadlines.

NGO and / or corporate relations experience.

Experience with online digital learning platforms.

Experience developing end products with software such as PowerPoint Word Excel cloud and web-based tools including SharePoint Box Zoom Microsoft Teams and similar tools.

Salary Information :

This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity taking into consideration legal restrictions such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $60000 to $88000 for annual base salary and is based on location qualifications specific skills and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants pay ranges will be in local currency the pay range will be based on the local labor market and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally for all applicants actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including for example the candidates qualifications specific skills and experience.
